About this Program
The Business Management, Marketing and Sales AAS major includes marketing, management, and other business courses as well as general education courses. This program is designed to prepare students to succeed in the marketplace. This major is designed to provide students with the skills necessary for a variety of careers in the sales, marketing, and management fields. Curriculum includes instruction in the following areas: sales, marketing, research, customer service, and small business planning. Emphasis is placed on developing skills in management decision-making, interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving, and technology skills. In the AAS, students are also required to complete 18 credits of general education courses. Two of these courses are College Writing I, and Introduction to Public Speaking. The student chooses the remaining 12 credits of general education.
