Mobile applications development is one of the fastest growing career fields. As mobile devices continue to change the way we do business, communicate, and access information and entertainment, the demand for new and innovative mobile applications is rapidly expanding. Mobile applications developers design new types of applications for computers, smartphones, tablets, and other types of electronic devices.

In this 60 credit AAS program, students will be introduced to software engineering technologies, tools, techniques, and strategies used to build simple computer applications for Android and iOS (Apple) devices such as smartphones and tablets; learn to design, develop, deploy and maintain Web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies for both mobile and desktop devices; create functional and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for websites and computer applications; and learn the basics of interactive debugging and software testing techniques.
