The role of a customer relations assistant involves handling telephone calls, greeting visitors and determining their needs, and scheduling appointments. Duties for customer relations assistant may include keyboarding documents, sorting and distributing mail, posting information to records, maintaining calendars, and file management.
Customer Relations assistants must be able to use a wide variety of automated office equipment such as computers, calculators, scanners, photocopiers, fax machines, and switchboards. Students will also be trained in several business software applications, transcription/voice recognition software, and the use of correct business English.
