About this Program

The Minnesota State University, Mankato Accounting Program is recognized for its excellence throughout Minnesota and the United States. Graduates of the Accounting Program consistently exceed the national average of first-time pass rate on the uniform CPA examination. The accounting major is a professional program designed to prepare the student for work in one or more of three areas: public, industrial or governmental not for profit accounting. The department also offers minors in Accounting, Business Law and Business Administration.
