Administrative Assistant students are provided with training and skills to work in an office setting. Employers expect graduates of the Administrative Assistant program to have a wide range of office support skills and be able to handle increasing levels of responsibility.
The Administrative Assistant graduate brings the following skills to an office environment: word processing, database, spreadsheet, and presentation software skills; understanding of calculators, records management systems, and multi-line telephones; basic accounting skills; and office communications and report preparation.
