About this Program
This program is designed to prepare students for registration and certification as a professional cytotechnologist. The student spends the first 3 years of pre-professional preparation on the Winona State University campus completing required courses in the biological and physical sciences as well as courses in general education and mathematics. Following completion of pre-professional program, the student transfers to an approved school of cytotechnology where the fourth and final year of study is completed.
