About this Program

This program provides a multi-disciplinary experience intended to nurture original cinematic voices and develop critical abilities necessary for lifelong careers in film and television. A core study of screenwriting is supplemented with studies in digital film production, creative writing, media studies, and theater. The curriculum provides the opportunity to develop an original voice, to reflect and grow as an individual creative screenwriter, and to apply this combination of skill and knowledge to the marketplace. Screenwriting and filmmaking will be examined from historical, theoretical and critical perspectives.
