About this Program

This program prepares students for work in dental offices. Coursework includes bio-medical studies, dental science, clinical practice and expanded functions. Classroom and lab work is supplemented with a nine-week supervised internship in area dental offices. The dental assisting program prepares students for the national and state examinations and certification within expanded functions.
