The Electronic Technician is a important member of the technical team. Their job as part of the team is to work with engineers and other professionals in the design, manufacture, testing, repair and maintenance of technical systems. There is a wide variety of job situations the technician will encounter. These may include repairing equipment or testing systems while working in the plant or in the field. The Electronic Technician may be required to have extensive software skills in addition to their electronic skills. Some positions may require travel, lifting and working with people from other companies to complete the task.
