About this Program

Automobile body technicians are skilled metal repair experts who may be involved in all phases of auto body repair. Repair of damaged vehicles involves straightening frame and uni-body sections, aligning front suspensions, removing dents from body panels, replacing glass and mechanical parts, estimating damage, and painting. The auto body collision industry is an ever-changing industry with the advent of smaller, more economical automobiles and increased concern with passenger safety. Throughout the years, the auto body collision occupation has required high technical skill and knowledge.
