About this Program

Experiential Education subscribes to the proposition that the learning process is integrally bound with the activities of everyday life-that doing is the fundamental component of learning. In this pursuit, Experiential Education offers a Master of Science degree for graduate students to learn how to use experience as a means of instruction. The program particularly promotes direct participation and involvement in a number of activities, followed by periods of reflection and analysis, a process based on the assumption that experience needs to be interpreted and internalized to have value.
