About this Program

The North Hennepin Law Enforcement program is designed to provide preparation needed for a variety of entry-level positions in state, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies. Graduates of this program are eligible to take the peace officer licensing examination and be licensed by the Minnesota Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training. The Associate in Science degree in Law Enforcement consists of prerequisite courses, general education courses and electives.
