About this Program

The Community Supports for People with Disabilities AAS degree and diploma majors are designed to train individuals to provide residential, vocational, or educational supports to people with disabilities in their communities. They emphasize building on the strengths and capacities of people with disabilities to maximize community inclusion. The AAS degree and diploma both meet the educational requirements for the Designated Coordinator (DC) position located in community support agencies.
