Students in this program acquire knowledge and develop skills in forestry, fisheries, wildlife, and parks and recreation. Students learn the identification of organisms, methods for collecting and recording data, and resource management principles and techniques. Courses prepare students for seasonal work in the Natural Resources field. They also help the student earn his/her way toward full-time employment by providing a well rounded background of course work that can be transferred to a 4-year college. (Brainerd Campus).
