This major provides a broad understanding of the criminal justice system as well as in-depth study of one area of concentration (such as law enforcement, pre-law, courts, correctional counseling, or criminal justice planning). An internship with a criminal justice agency is encouraged, and a concentration is required in political science, psychology, social work, or sociology.
