About this Program

This certificate offers the knowledge and skills necessary to work in industries using lean and other quality practices. Lean Manufacturing has come to encompass a wide variety of terms, concepts, and practices aimed at improving productivity and efficiency in manufacturing operations. This certificate will cover continuous improvement, process documentation, process improvement, value stream mapping to familiarize students with best practices in quality practices. Prerequisite: Graduation from or concurrent enrollment in a two-year manufacturing program or a minimum of two years experience in manufacturing. This program is not accepting new students at this time. Please check back when registration reopens.
