About this Program

The Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE) is an alliance of Minnesota nursing programs dedicated to increasing the educational capacity for baccalaureate nursing education. The MANE program is a four year, eight semester, full-time, 120 credit shared concept-based baccalaureate curriculum. It is based on a set of core competencies intended to prepare graduates to provide care to individuals, families and communities in health promotion, acute or chronic illness, and at the end of life. University to complete the Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Students have the option of starting the MANE nursing curriculum at a collaborating college and earning an Associate of Science degree from that collaborating college after completing the first five semesters of the shared curriculum. These students will complete the baccalaureate portion of the program during the final three semesters at the same collaborating college. Students who start the MANE curriculum at Metropolitan State University will have the option to take their pre-requisite courses at any collaborating college or university campus and will take all of the nursing courses at the Metropolitan State University campus.
