An orthotic and prosthetic assistant is a health care professional who is educated and trained to support the certified practitioner by assisting in orthotic and prosthetic patient care. Students who earn the Orthotic and Prosthetic Clinical Applications Diploma will meet the requirements to be employed as an Orthotic/Prosthetic Assistant. Graduates may pursue further education through a Baccalaureate degree or appropriate Master�s degree to meet professional requirements.
