This program has a flexible triple track, offering a two-year degree program, a two-year diploma program , or two certificate programs. Within each track there are three majors to choose from: the Electronic Controls Technical major, the Computer and Network Support Technician major, and a Special Electronics Technician major which allows the students the flexibility to customize their program by choosing up to 14 credits from other program areas. The graduate for the Electronic Controls Technician program is a specialist in the use of modern electronic test equipment, automated equipment and the use and programming of computers. Technicians are hired by both large and small companies to design, test, build, sell or service electronic related, and computer-based equipment. Some positions have the potential to involve travel. The graduate from the Computer and Network Support Technician program is a specialist in servicing and maintaining desktop PC computers and local area networks. He/she prepares to take the A+ Certification and begins the path to other certifications. Our graduates find employment in a wide variety of computer and network support professional positions.
