About this Program

Virtualization and End User Computing is a virtual desktop infrastructure solution that simplifies desktop management and provides users with what they need, when they need it. Similar to Cloud computing, it is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services). The development of the Cloud service model delivers business-supporting technology more efficiently than ever before.

This award prepares students with the expertise, knowledge, and skills required in today's evolving Cloud computing, virtualization, and security industry. In fact, IDC recently reported that In 2012, more than 1.7 million jobs related to cloud computing remained unfilled worldwide. The reason for this is lack of training and certification. Both of these issues are addressed by this program.
