About this Program

The Marine Engine Technology curriculum is designed to educate individuals to become competent marine technicians. The primary focus of this diploma program is the diagnosis, service and repair of outboard and stern drive/inboard engines, drive systems, and related systems and components. Students perform service on modern marine equipment using special test equipment and tools. Career opportunities include working in dealerships as technicians, with many having opportunities to move into management, self-employment and factory representative positions.
