This program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become licensed and give direct nursing care to clients in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, doctor's offices, facilities for the mentally and physically handicapped, and private duty in homes. Instruction includes classroom theory, lab experience, and supervised clinical experience. A graduate of this program is eligible to apply to write the state board examination for licensure. The program is approved by the Minnesota State Board of Nursing and is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing.
