About this Program

This program develops a base of core skills and specific teacher competencies. Certain special education licensure requirements may be simultaneously pursued in conjunction with the master's degree in Special Education. Specific Learning Disabilities License Program: The program is offered both on campus and online and leads to a Minnesota K-12 license in specific learning disabilities. Students are provided with extensive theory, methodology, and applied experiences teaching students with learning disabilities. Emotional Behavioral Disorders License Program: This program is offered both on campus and online and leads to a Minnesota K-12 license in emotional behavioral disorders. Students are provided with extensive theory, methodology, and applied experiences teaching students with emotional behavioral disorders.
