About this Program

This program prepares individuals to inspire 5th-8th graders and 9th-12th graders to learn about social studies and linking their personal experiences to the larger socioeconomic forces. Graduates will gain a strong foundation in social science disciplines and the intellectual skills necessary for excellence as an urban school teacher. Plus prepare for the Minnesota Social Studies Teaching License while enhancing one's teaching skills and content knowledge.
