About this Program

Provides the knowledge and skills needed to assist organizations with planning, maintaining, and configuring IP Telephony related equipment. Students will learn the basics of how IP Telephony functions and also learn how to work with vendor specific equipment such as Cisco. The idea of security will be woven into all classes and an underlying theme will be how this technology and equipment is utilized in the enterprise environment. Prior networking knowledge is required to go through this certificate program.
