Description
This course focuses on clinical and operational excellence and continuous improvement of quality and safety from the leadership perspective. Process improvement philosophies, approaches, models, and methods are reviewed and applied to health care delivery. Critical communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are incorporated and evaluated throughout the course. Competence Statement: Knows the theories, principles and methods of continuous quality improvement, work flow design, and human factors well enough to develop a quality improvement proposal.
