Description
Students learn the principles governing mapping systems and how to research, interpret and utilize maps. Students analyze and interpret both thematic and topographic maps to discern physical, cultural, economic, political and environmental patterns. Mapping capabilities of geospatial technologies (GPS, GIS, Remote Sensing) are introduced. Prerequisite(s): None
