HS 1750 - Case Management and Ethics - 3 credits

This course details the ethical guidelines that direct the delivery of alcohol and drug counseling services, as well as the ethical standards licensed alcohol and drug counselors must abide by at a state and national level. In addition students will compare and contrast LADC guidelines, statues, laws, and regulations with National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), American Psychological Association (APA), National Association of Social Workers (NASW), American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), and American Counseling Association (ACA) standards.
