SOCW 390 - Social Work Research: Process & Skills - 3 credits

Registration into this course requires an admission process and acceptance into the program. This is an introductory course in social work research. The focus is on the relationships, process, and skills which are used to evaluate social work practice. The students work in groups with a variety of human service organization practitioners to gather data to answer research questions related to the organization. Prerequisites: SOCW 365 and admission to the social work major. Corequisite: SOCW 385 (Winona campus); SOCW 365 (Rochester campus). Limited enrollment. Grade only. Offered each semester on the Winona campus; offered annually on the Rochester campus.
